1. Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using ChorePilot, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use ChorePilot.

These terms are effective as of April 19, 2026.

2. Eligibility And Household Use

You must be legally capable of agreeing to these terms. If you create or manage a household, you represent that you are authorized to do so for yourself and for any family members or household participants you invite.

If minors use ChorePilot within a household, their participation must be supervised by a parent, guardian, or authorized household organizer. You are responsible for obtaining any permissions needed before uploading photos or information about another person.

3. Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining access to the Google account used to sign in.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep it reasonably current.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account or household access.
  • You must promptly notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to ChorePilot, including chore data, proof photos, room photos, names, and household information.

You grant ChorePilot a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt, and display that content solely to operate, improve, secure, and support the service.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content you upload and to share it with the household members who can access it through the product.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use ChorePilot for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
  • Upload content that infringes another person's rights or privacy.
  • Attempt to access accounts, households, or data you are not authorized to use.
  • Interfere with the service, reverse engineer it unlawfully, or bypass security controls.
  • Use automated means to scrape, overload, or disrupt ChorePilot.
  • Submit highly sensitive, medical, financial, or government ID images through photo features.

6. Subscriptions And Billing

ChorePilot may offer free and paid features, including recurring subscriptions. Paid purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and subscription status may be managed through RevenueCat on our behalf.

  • Prices, billing periods, and included features may change over time.
  • Recurring subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through the store account used for purchase.
  • Refunds, cancellations, and billing disputes are handled by the applicable app store.
  • If your purchase expires, premium features may become unavailable until a valid subscription is restored or renewed.

7. Apple And Google Play Terms

Your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple's applicable Usage Rules, and your use of the Android app is also subject to Google Play terms and policies.

Apple and Google are not responsible for providing maintenance or support for ChorePilot, and they are not responsible for addressing claims relating to the app except as required by applicable law. For iOS users, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms as they relate to your licensed use of the iOS app.

8. Service Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of ChorePilot at any time. Features may depend on third-party services, mobile operating systems, network access, cloud providers, app store infrastructure, and device compatibility.

Some features, including room-photo analysis, notifications, sign-in, and cloud sync, may be unavailable if third-party services fail or if your device permissions are disabled.

9. Termination

You may stop using ChorePilot at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these terms, created risk for other users, or used the service in a fraudulent, unlawful, or abusive way.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including provisions about payments already due, ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute-related obligations, will survive.

10. Disclaimers And Liability

ChorePilot is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that chore suggestions, reminders, reports, or photo analysis outputs will always be complete, accurate, or suitable for every household.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChorePilot and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from or related to your use of the service.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to ChorePilot will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to ChorePilot for the service during the 12 months before the claim arose or fifty U.S. dollars (USD $50).

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date. If you continue using ChorePilot after the revised terms take effect, the updated terms will apply going forward.
