Your household data should stay understandable.

This policy applies to ChorePilot, including our mobile apps, website, and related cloud services. It covers information processed through features such as Google sign-in, household setup, chore scheduling, proof-photo uploads, notifications, subscription management, and room-photo analysis.

By using ChorePilot, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy as of April 19, 2026.

We collect the information needed to run ChorePilot and keep household coordination working.

• Account information: your name, email address, account identifier, and sign-in details provided through Google authentication.
• Household information: household name, member roles, invite codes, member availability, rewards, scheduling preferences, and related household settings.
• Chore activity: chores, room assignments, completion history, proof status, approval decisions, and notification state.
• Photos and uploaded content: proof photos and room photos you submit, along with related metadata such as upload time, household ID, and user ID.
• Purchase and subscription information: entitlement status, plan type, renewal state, and store transaction metadata processed through Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat. We do not receive your full payment card number.
• Device and service data: push notification tokens, installation IDs, platform type, and operational logs required to deliver notifications, sync households, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot the service.

• Authenticate you and connect you to the correct household.
• Create, sync, and display chores, household members, schedules, proof, and reports.
• Send push notifications about reminders, proof submission, approval, and household changes.
• Process and restore subscriptions, premium access, and purchase status.
• Analyze room photos to generate draft chores. This feature may use OpenAI through our backend service to interpret submitted images and return suggested chores for your review.
• Protect the service, enforce our terms, investigate abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
• Provide support and improve reliability, security, and core product functionality.

ChorePilot is not built around third-party advertising, and we do not sell personal information.

We share information only as needed to operate ChorePilot.

• Within your household: household members can see household information, assigned chores, progress, and proof content as part of the product experience.
• Service providers: we use providers such as Google Firebase (authentication, database, cloud functions, storage, messaging), Google Sign-In, RevenueCat, Apple, and Google Play to operate the service and manage purchases.
• AI processing providers: room-photo analysis may be processed by OpenAI through our backend in order to return chore suggestions.
• Legal and safety reasons: we may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce our terms, protect users, or prevent fraud or misuse.
• Business transfers: if ChorePilot is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain household history, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Household records, proof photos, notifications, and subscription state may remain stored until they are deleted by you, removed during account or household cleanup, or no longer needed for operational or legal reasons. Temporary files and device caches may persist on your device until your operating system removes them or you delete the app.

• You can control push notifications through your iOS or Android device settings.
• You can edit certain household and account information from within the app.
• You can manage or cancel paid subscriptions through your App Store or Google Play account.
• You can avoid submitting room photos or proof photos if you do not want that content processed.

ChorePilot is designed for household use and may be used in family settings that include minors. A parent, guardian, or authorized household organizer should create and supervise household participation for children.

If you submit information about a child or allow a child to use ChorePilot through your household, you represent that you are authorized to do so and that the child's use is supervised as required by applicable law.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information processed through ChorePilot. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Please use strong device security, protect access to your Google account, and avoid uploading sensitive images or information you do not want stored or shared with your household.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version here and update the effective date above. Your continued use of ChorePilot after an updated policy becomes effective means the updated policy will apply going forward.
